We aim to despatch orders received by 3pm on the day of receipt. At
times of exceptional demand, please allow up to 28 days for delivery. If you have an urgent order then please advise when placing your order.
When placing an order the postage or freight payment will be automatically calculated and deducted.
The Order Completion Process
UK Mainland delivery options
We make every effort to process and despatch orders by 3pm each working day. Orders received after 3pm will be processed on our next working day. If you have particular requirements please ring us.
Orders are usually despatched by Royal Mail 2nd Class post for delivery in 2-3 workings days unless a priority service is selected from the drop-down menu on the order page or by selection as a 'product' - see below:
For First Class delivery a supplement of £1.00 is charged. Add code 1000 to the search box and Buy.
For First Class Signed For a supplement of £2.00 is charged. Add code 1002 to the search box and Buy.
For Special Delivery (Guaranteed by 1pm, the next working day after despatch) a supplement of £5.00 is charged. Add code 1001 to the search box and Buy.
UK Mainland delivery costs
The charges for postage and packaging reflect the costs and weight bands of the postal services.
The following basic charges apply before the addition of any delivery supplements:
Up 1000g add £2.00
1001 to 2000g add £4.00
over 2000g add £6.00
Orders weighing over 2000g
For orders weighing over 2000g an overnight courier or tracked service is generally used and there is no maximum weight or freight charge for your order within the UK. Therefore, if you are purchasing heavier items, eg sanitary products and body care, it may pay to buy as much as you can to make the most of the postage cost.
For orders over 2000g please advise us in the order message of a secure location so that the parcel(s) can be left safely if you are not in. Secure locations include for example, a neighbour, porch or a garden shed. There is always the option to select a business address.
UK non-mainland destinations
The postage or freight of all orders over 2000g to all UK postcode addresses outside the UK mainland e.g. Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Scottish Islands will be charged at cost. We will be happy to advise on freight costs if you call 0117 968 7744 or email

Cheque orders are processed once the cheque is cleared. If the payment by cheque or postal order does not include sufficient monies to cover the postage then the quantity of products mailed may be reduced accordingly to cover postage costs. We will advise of any overpayment or underpayment.
International orders
By default, the Natural Woman shopping basket shows product prices in UK Sterling (GBP) exclusive of sales tax.
You can select to pay in USD or EURO by clicking the currency flag at the top of each page. All prices will then be displayed in your chosen currency and the shopping cart transaction will be completed in that currency.
Orders to customers outside the UK and Europe are not charged UK Sales Tax (up to 15%).
International orders are charged postage according to weight. The maximum weight for Airmail packages is 2.00kg. The shopping basket will calculate postage for all international situations. If you are placing a large order (at or above 2.00kg) then you should email

for advice. It may be possible to split the order into small packages each of less than 2.00kg or an international parcel may be more cost-effective.
The minimum for non-UK orders in the EU is £3.00.
The minimum for orders outside the EU is £5.00.

Payment Options
Payment with order only.
All online card payments are processed using the totally secure Protx Payment System. SPM Ltd has no access to your card details.
UK resident customers can pay online by using MAESTRO, SOLO, DELTA, ELECTRON, VISA, MASTERCARD or a PAYPAL account. The same cards (but not PayPal) can be used when you place telephone orders. You can also opt for an offline payment and send a UK £sterling cheque or UK £sterling postal order made payable to SPM Ltd t/a Natural Woman, 86 Shirehampton Road, Bristol, BS9 2DR
International orders are conducted in through the secure Protx Payment System in your chosen currency but we may accept Electronic Funds Transfer or a £sterling bank cheque by arrangement.
Orders within the EU will include UK VAT at the prevailing rate - currently 15% (5% for feminine hygiene products)
Orders outside the EU are treated as export orders and Value Added Tax (Sales Tax) is deducted.

Refund policy
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 gives you the right to cancel an order within seven days of receipt. You must notify us IN WRITING by letter, fax or email, and you must return the goods unopened and unused at your own expense. We will then refund, within 30 days, the original purchase price of the product in question plus any postage and packing costs that applied to the original order.
