So how does the test work?
Similar to a test a doctor may do, the Test measures the levels of Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) in the urine. With the start of menopause, the ovaries start to work less well and the monthly menstrual period becomes irregular. The body responds by releasing larger amounts of FSH thereby increasing the levels in the body. Raised FSH levels are a clear and proven signal of the body’s transition to menopause. The Test is over 99% accurate for the detection of raised FSH.
