This test is for use by both men and women. Chlamydia is the commonest sexually transmitted bacterial infection which affects about 1 in 20 women overall. Women over 25 are at highest risk. This kit is to check the presence/absence of Chlamydia trachomatis bacteria in a urine sample.

Kit contains:
Plastic pouch with two pockets and a postal tube. There is a snaptop seal which will be used to seal the pouch before sending it to the laboratory. A cardboard postal tube, lined with an absorbent material in case of leakage, with plastic covers on each end. Inside the tube is a urine sample collection bottle with a screw top. For results the sample should be sent in the pre-paid envelope provided.
