The PreventID CC test is a rapid test for the quantitative detection of human faecal blood in stool. Fecal blood is an indicator for a variety of disorders. Gastrointestinal disorders such as ulcers, polyps, colitis, diverticulitis, fissures and colorectal cancer are rarely indicated by visual symptoms- except by traces of occult blood in faeces! The PreventID CC test is able to detect occult blood in far lower concentrations compared to the conventional guaiac test.
